We recently addressed electronic issues in a K9 vehicle, resolving intermittent connectivity problems caused by RF interference from newly installed communication radios. The main controller was relocated to improve performance. In parallel, we worked with the agency to plan the decommission of the current vehicle, determine reusable or reconditioned equipment, and design the new vehicle’s upfit. This included updated lighting, push grille and PIT bar options, K9 electronics replacement, and a detailed installation quote.
Two new Ford Police Interceptor Utilities were fully upfitted for patrol duty. Equipment from retired vehicles was reconditioned and reused, with new prisoner transport, storage, push bumpers, and updated lighting systems installed for dependable daily use.
A full equipment changeover was completed from the old ambulance to the new, including radios, Stryker Power Load, and Power Cot systems. In addition, electrical issues with the quick response vehicle were diagnosed and resolved with a custom charging solution.
Our team installed a Havis aluminum full K9 insert with matte black vinyl on the front panel to prevent driver silhouette and improve handler safety. The AceK9 Hot & Pop Pro system was added to monitor kennel temperature and automatically roll down windows, start a fan, and activate lights or horn if conditions become unsafe. An AceK9 WatchDog System provides cellular connectivity and real-time data through a mobile app, allowing users to monitor temperature, ignition, and alarm status remotely. It also sends alerts via text, app, or automated call to designated personnel, ensuring maximum safety for both the K9 and handler.
Our Siren Fleet and Emergency Vehicle Upfit Teams recently transformed Payson Fall Creek Fire Department's Ford F-450 with a range of enhancements. The vehicle now features a Decked cargo slide, ARE commercial topper, upgraded suspension, and a Westin grille guard with winch mount. On the emergency side, we installed a fully programmable Feniex lighting system, 100W siren, Kussmaul Auto Eject shoreline connector, and a Vanner power inverter for charging tools and equipment. A Havis console centralizes radios, controls, and response guide storage, creating a fully equipped, ready-to-respond vehicle.
